how long before i push celesta’s design so far that she becomes nothing but a noodly blue fetus? we just don’t know. debatably she’s already there.

It’s ambiguous whether or not Celesta is the only dream being, but she is the only one that appears in her story. (Eift has been cut from existence actually since Skitty had no inspiration for his character anymore and he was extraneous/unnecessary to the story anyway)
As for how/why she came into being, if someone were to ask she would give one of numerous woeful backstories, all of which she believes are true (and may or may not be).

CELESTA. cut off her hair and continued her transition to being more mousey and less humany since i want her to look more like “slinky magic mouse” and less like “babe in mouse ears with weird legs”
celesta’s design hasn’t really changed, i just wanted to mess with her proportions to make her look more like a rat.
